Windows Security Officer enables you to protect and control access to your PC. This fine offering features an intuitive interface and lots of options. It offers administrative support for controlling which users are allowed access to your computer and at what level. You can choose to restrict access to several Control Panel applet functions, including Display, Network, Passwords, Printer, and System. It's not all or nothing -- you can allow a user access to your wallpaper settings but not allow him to change your screen saver, for example. You can also assign separate system folders to each user, providing each with his own custom desktop. You can also disable Start menu items, hide your drives, disable the DOS prompt, hide desktop icons, and much more. You can even set an access timer and deny access to all programs on your PC except for those on a safe list of your creation. If you prefer, you can build a list of programs to deny access to. Other features include CD-ROM control, a screen-lock utility, and multilanguage support.

úThe program has been separated into two parts: the _Wizard_ that allows you to manage settings and the _Agent_ that controls the user working time, CD-ROM usage and spies for windows.
úThe program keeps data (registration code, passwords, settings) in the ciphered data file. So nobody can have an access to the program data.

If you use UNREGISTERED copy you have to :

REGISTERED copy DOESN'T allow anybody to RUN and UNINSTALL Security Officer
without the administrator password .

INSTALLATION :
If you have a previous version of the Windows Security Officer on your
computer, before installation of new version, you must click the right-button
of the mouse on the "Eye" icon in the System Tray Bar and choose the menu
item "Settings", then in the configuration window, reset (disable by
UN-checking the box) the option "Auto-run" and close the Windows Security Officer.
Remove all files from the directory where the previous version was installed .
UN-Zip the *.zip file to a temporarydirectory then run setup.exe.
