Clear your History

Delete URL History

Q: How do you clear unwanted sites from your address
window?

A: Many people do not want others to access any
information about their Internet habits. It is easy to
erase your Internet path. Each browser deletes URL
history differently. Follow the instructions for the
browser that you use.

Internet Explorer

Click on Tools.
Click Internet Options.
Click Clear History.

You can also specify the number of days to keep sites
in your history log.

Netscape Navigator

These steps are for version 4.05 and 4.06. If you have an
older version of Netscape go here. To avoid workarounds,
upload the latest version of Netscape.

Click on Edit.
Select Preferences.
Click on Navigator on the left.
On the right, click the Clear Location Bar button.
Click OK.

AOL

This also clears keyword history.

Click on My AOL in your toolbar.
Scroll down to Preferences.
Click on Toolbar.
Click on Clear History Now.
